Meet the Team

  • The founder of OURspace, a raw, authentic, honest woman (she/her), leaves nothing unattended.

With a love for tradition, she integrates Himalayan breath-work and kriya with modern asana, music, and chanting, cultivating a deep connection to the self.

    Warning and Disclaimer:

You may laugh hard, cry out loud, and find yourself in shapes you never thought possible. Maybe even find yourself wildly at peace ♥️.

Her classes, whether integrating kriya and breath-work or classical vinyasa and Yin, will always be intentional, grounding, strong, and fluid, with elements of nature woven into the practice. This cultivates a journey through the body from the mind to the heart, supported by breath always.

A true teacher, she shares from the heart, threading her love of alignment, philosophy, deities, sutras, and storytelling, bringing a level of depth that she personally feels is important as a way of experiencing oneself truly.

Some people call her classes the “church of yoga,” a label that has stuck with her for 10 years. Tina describes her classes as “a journey through the landscape of your body,” a way to evolve your consciousness, elevate your mind, while tapping into the field of awareness.

Simply put, this integrated practice updates your own personal hardware, bringing you online. A true journey within.

“I’m gonna live my life with my heart forward.”

  • Becca delivers her classes in a simple, clear and accessible way and teaches to whomever is in the room. In all of her classes you will experience a weaving and harmonious blend of Kriya (Himalayan Breathwork) and Asana (Poses). Honouring both the physical and non physical form.

Becca takes a grounded and practical approach to building awareness, and caters to all levels of practitioners.

Becca also provide a space for students to heal and align in an embodied, authentic and sustainable way. Through practice her intention is to empower students to navigate their lives with more clarity, confidence and connection to consciousness.

  • Meet Phoebe, a world-renowned yoga and movement facilitator. Phoebe’s life has revolved around bodily expression from a young age.

A professional dancer until her early twenties, she transitioned into yoga soon after, a practice that has deeply captured her attention and dedicated commitment.

Phoebe has been teaching internationally for 10 years and in-between, calls Melbourne, Australia home. Phoebe is passionate about anatomy, breath, how to move well and helping people reconnect back to their innate ability to move with freedom.

  • After years of dipping in and out, Jodie started her journey into yoga after spending two weeks in Koh Phangan on what would end up being a life changing and solo yoga retreat in the jungle.

She hiked in (literally!) looking forward to two weeks off grid, and hiked out determined to learn more and 4 months later she had completed her first YTT and was teaching in Melbourne. Since then, she has explored and studied extensively to deepen her understanding, and is especially drawn to learning more about the philosophy and history of yoga and their practices. When it comes to asana though, her heart is currently firmly placed in creative and fun exploration through vinyasa.

She teaches slow, strong, yet intelligently sequenced classes which will leave you feeling connected, open and peaceful (she hopes!).

  • Nelly, a qualified Hatha and Yin Yoga instructor. Nelly skillfully combines both techniques to create a flow practice that resonates with her students. In Nelly's classes, you'll embark on a profound journey, connecting deeply with your authentic self.

Prepare to explore poses in a more profound way as we hold them for extended periods. Don't be mistaken – this doesn't make it easier; instead, it provides ample space for self-discovery and reveals the natural chatter of our minds.

Together, Nelly and her students will work on releasing tension and quieting the noise within, offering practical applications for daily life and fostering a sense of balance.

  • Zara has used yoga to manage life’s challenges and in her classes you will find her teaching you to do the same.

Zara believes Kriya Yoga is a very effective way to repair the relationship with one self and gain greater awareness.

Zara has trained at Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh India, and teaches Himalayan Kriya, Breathwork and an Integrated Flow in her classes.

Zara hopes she can aid you in gaining great awareness of oneself and helping you to release stored emotions held within the body.

  • Taryn feels most ignited in her work when she can help others discover their own power to heal, transform & grow through self care rituals and practices. Taryn's classes are sincere, heart felt and offer space for self inquiry.

Outside of yoga, Taryn is a passionate massage therapist and reiki practitioner, with a love and enthusiasm for all things Wellness, which has seen her working and training in this field for over 14 years.

Taryn hopes for you to leave her classes feeling free and fluid in your physical body, easy within your mind and deeply connected to the essence within your heart.
